PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA, COLLECTION METHODS, PURPOSES, AND LEGAL BASIS
In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), COOPERATIVE STUDIO, as the data controller, processes your personal data within the scope outlined below.
Your personal information is collected directly from you when you visit our website www.cooperativestudio.com, fill out the membership agreement, make purchases from our online or physical stores, engage in telephone or email correspondence, participate in promotions or surveys, and subscribe to our e-newsletter.
The collected data may include identity information (such as name, surname, Turkish ID number or passport number, gender), contact information (such as email address, postal address, phone number, IP address), data related to purchased products, and visual and audio data obtained through security cameras in our stores.
These data are processed under Article 5, Paragraph 2 of KVKK for the purposes of establishing and fulfilling a contract, complying with legal obligations, and provided that it does not infringe on your fundamental rights and freedoms.
Additionally, information such as date of birth, marital status, shopping habits, preferences, profession, educational background, financial data, and digital footprint may be processed based on your explicit consent to enhance our services, improve your shopping experience, and conduct analyses while ensuring privacy measures are in place.
As required by law, your personal data will be destroyed once the purpose of processing ceases to exist in accordance with KVKK.
For any personal data that does not fall under the legal bases outlined in Article 5/2 of KVKK, we will request your explicit consent. You can provide this consent by checking the relevant boxes on our website or by explicitly confirming your approval. Similarly, your consent is required for the use of your identity and contact information for electronic commercial communications.
TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA AND PURPOSES
Your personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, third parties with whom we cooperate, authorized public institutions, and private entities in accordance with the legal grounds and purposes specified above, within the scope of Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
As a data subject, you have the following rights under Article 11 of KVKK:
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- To request information if your personal data has been processed,
- To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad,
- To request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data,
- To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons for its processing no longer exist, in accordance with KVKK,
- To object to the emergence of a result against you due to the analysis of your personal data by automated systems,
- To demand compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
You may submit your requests regarding your rights via www.cooperativestudio.com or by email. Your request will be processed as soon as possible and no later than 30 days, and if there is an additional cost, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff determined by the KVKK Board.
